For The Book Worms

The Summer of Katya

Aaah!! feel the delicious sense of longing and the agony of betrayal, the sheer lyrical beauty of the prose and the old world charm of a little village in France. Each sentence conjures up an image of breathless beauty, grace and poise.

Each character is adeptly described and one falls victim to the honesty and deficiency of these characters. A sense of foreboding and abandonment towards the end left me as torn as the young Jean-Marc.

A lucid and intelligible read..a must for all literature lovers…
